Happy New Year from Video Professor Seasons Club!

Wow, another year has gone by. As usual, it's been a busy one for the Video Professor Seasons Employees Club. Already the club is getting ready for 2010.

First event on tap is the annual Super Bowl Potluck lunch.

"It's a chance for us to enjoy a great lunch together, wear our favorite team colors regardless of sport and simply enjoy ourselves," says LaSchell Needham, Facilities Manager for Video Professor and one of the founders of the club.

Seasons Club was founded several years ago so the many employees from the various department of Video Professor could get to know each other better.

"Since then, we realized that as a group we could make a difference in the community where we work," adds Needham. "Now we include the Jefferson County Action Center and Salvation Army Angel Tree projects as yearly events."

Seasons Club members also "adopted" some troops serving in Iraq, sending regular care packages of requested goodies and soon will be sending boxes to troops in Afghanistan.

"All of our guys made it home safe and sound from Iraq," says Needham. "They are volunteers all, fighting to defend the freedoms we often take for granted here at home."

When it comes to charitable efforts, Seasons Club members believe that if everyone gives a little, together they can make a big difference.

And if 2009 is any indication, 2010 will be just the same.

Video Professor Employees take on "Angels" role.

Each year, members of the Video Professor Seasons Club organize an annual gift drive for kids and seniors, working with the Salvation Army Giving Angel Tree Project. This year Video Professor employees gathered 75 gifts.
